성장혼합모형을 적용한 다문화청소년의 진로 결정성 변화 유형화 및 영향요인 검증

Abstract

본 연구는 다문화가정 고등학생의 진로 결정성 변화에 따른 잠재계층 유형을 분류하고, 영향요인을 개인, 가정, 학교 관점에서 종합적으로 검증하였다. 이를 위해 다문화청소년 패널조사 1기의 7~9차 자료를 활용하여 성장혼합모형 분석을 실시했다. 분석 결과, 진로 결정성 변화의 유형은 저수준 증가(6.1%), 중수준 증가(65.8%), 고수준 유지(28.0%)의 3개 계층으로 분류되었다. 다음으로 영향요인의 효과를 검증한 결과, 개인 특성 요인 중 성취동기 및 이중문화 수용태도, 가정 요인 중 부모와의 대화 빈도, 학교 요인 중 학업 적응과 학교 진로교육 및 활동 만족도가 높을수록 진로 결정성 중수준 증가/고수준 유지 집단에 속할 확률이 높았다. 본 연구는 다문화청소년의 진로 결정성이 시간에 따라 변화하며 같은 발달 시기에 있더라도 이질적인 발달 양상을 보일 수 있음을 확인하고, 개인별 진로 발달 수준에 맞는 세분화된 진로 교육이 필요함을 도출하였다. 나아가 다문화청소년의 진로 발달을 위해 가정, 학교, 기관에서 참고할 수 있는 교육적 함의를 제시하였다.

This study identified the subtypes of changes in career decision-making among multicultural high school students and analyzed the influencing factors related to individual characteristics, family, and school. The results of the growth mixture model analysis revealed three latent classes of career decision-making change trajectories: low-level increases (6.1%), moderate-level increases (65.8%), and high-level maintenance (28.0%). Additionally, higher levels of achievement motivation, bicultural acceptance attitudes (individual factors), frequency of communication with parents (family factors), academic adaptation, and satisfaction with school career education and activities (school factors) were associated with higher change trajectories. The findings underscore the dynamic nature of career decision-making among multicultural adolescents, emphasizing the importance of tailored career education based on individual developmental levels. Moreover, it has educational implications for schools and institutions supporting the career development of multicultural adolescents.
