Abstract
본 연구는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 중등 교육성과인 학업성취와 성인기 학습전략, 자아탄력성, 삶의가치‧태도 및 생활만족도 간 인과관계를 확인하는 것이다. 특히 연구모형에 투입된 측정변수 평균이 성인 남성과 여성 집단에서 상당한 차이를 나타내는 것을 근거로 성별 집단을 분리하여 분석하고 그 차이를 비교하였다.
분석내용은 중등 교육성과인 학업성취와 학습전략 그리고 자아탄력성은 이미 결정된 고정된 특성이라는 측면에서 횡단자료를 투입하였으며, 삶의가치‧태도와 생활만족도는 성인기 조건과 환경에 따라 변화될 가능성을 가정하여 잠재성장모형인 무조건모형으로 투입하였다.
분석결과 중등 교육성과인 학업성취는 학습전략과 자아탄력성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인이라는 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 학업성취, 학습전략 그리고 자아탄력성이 삶의가치‧태도와 생활만족도에 미치는 효과는 미미한 것으로 판단된다. 그런데 성인기 삶의가치‧태도가 생활만족도에 미치는 효과와 종단적 인과관계 변화에서도 의미 있는 결과를 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구결과는 건강한 성인기 생활만족도 제고를 위한 정보로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
This study uses the Korea Employment Education Panel (KEEP) data to examine the causal relationship between secondary education outcomes such as academic achievement and learning strategies, ego-resiliency, value and attitude of life, and life satisfaction. In particular, based on the fact that the average of the measurement variables input into the research model showed significant differences between adult male and female groups, the gender groups were separated for analysis and the differences were compared.
The analysis content input cross-sectional data from the perspective that secondary education outcomes such as academic achievement, learning strategies, and ego-resiliency are already fixed characteristics, and value and attitude of life, and life satisfaction were input as an unconditional model, which is a latent growth model, assuming that they may change depending on conditions and environment of adulthood.
The results of the analysis confirmed that academic achievement, which is a secondary education outcome, is an important factor affecting learning strategies and ego-resiliency. However, the effects of academic achievement, learning strategies, and ego-resiliency on value and attitude of life, and life satisfaction were judged to be minimal. By the way, it was confirmed that adulthood value and attitude of life have meaningful results not only in the effect on life satisfaction but also in longitudinal causality changes. The results of this study are expected to be useful as information for improving life satisfaction in healthy adulthood.
