청년층의 대학 교과 수강 경험, 직장 만족도가 이직의도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

이 연구는 청년층의 이직의도에 대학 교과 수강 경험과 현재 직장 만족도가 영향을 미치는지 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국교육고용패널(KEEPⅡ) 7차년도(2023)의 조사 자료에서 현재 일자리를 갖고 있고, 이직의도가 있는 882명의 사례를 활용하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 캡스톤디자인 교과목을 수강하면 이직의도가 증가하게 나타났고, 진로/직업탐색 전공 교과 수강 및 멘토링은 이직의도를 감소하게 하였다. 그리고 일과 전공 일치도, 일과 기술 능력수준, 일과 교육수준, 업무 만족도, 전반적인 직장만족도가 높을 때 이직의도가 감소하였다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 청년층의 조기 이직을 방지할 수 있게 대학의 교육과정 운영 및 지원, 기업의 인사담당 부서에서 노력해야 할 사항 등 방안을 제시하였다.

This study aims to determine whether college coursework experiences and current job satisfaction influence college graduates' turnover intentions. To this end, we conducted a logistic regression analysis on the data of 882 people who currently have a job and turnover intend to work among the survey data of the 7th year (2023) of the Korea Education and Employment Panel (KEEPⅡ). The results showed that a capstone design course increased turnover intentions while a career/vocational exploration course and mentoring decreased turnover intentions. When the match between job and major, job and technical ability level, job, and education level, job satisfaction, and overall job satisfaction were high, decreased turnover intentions. Based on this study, we suggest measures to prevent early job changes among young people, such as the operation and support of university curricula and efforts to be made by HR departments at companies.
