의사결정나무를 이용한 청년의 근무형태와 직장만족도 예측연구

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생활 특성과 대학 내 진로 및 취업 활동이 근무 형태와 직장 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 대학교육정책 및 고용정책에 대한 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국직업능력연구원이 생산한 '한국교육고용패널조사Ⅱ(KEEPⅡ)' 7차년도 데이터를 활용하여, 434명의 응답자를 대상으로 머신러닝 기반의 의사결정나무 분석을 수행하였다. 주요 분석 결과에 따르면, 정규직 근무 형태와 높은 직장 만족도와 관련하여 결정트리의 첫 번째 노드에서 일과 전공의 일치도가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 일과 전공이 일치하는 경우 정규직 근무 형태에 진로 및 직업탐색 교양과목의 수강 여부가 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 일과 전공의 일치도가 낮더라도 대학의 다양한 교육과정에 대한 만족도가 높을 경우, 전반적인 직장 만족도 또한 높을 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 대학교육정책 및 고용정책 수립에 대한 다양한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of university life characteristics and career/employment activities within the university on employment type and job satisfaction, and to provide implications for higher education and employment policies based on the findings. To achieve this, a machine learning-based decision tree analysis was conducted using data from the 7th wave of the "Korea Employment Education Panel Survey II (KEEP II)" produced by the Korea Research Institute for Vocatioanl Education and Training (KRIVET), with a sample of 434 respondents. The main findings indicate that the alignment between work and major had a significant influence on both regular employment and high job satisfaction, as evidenced by the first node in the decision tree. In cases where work and major were aligned, the decision to enroll in career exploration courses positively affected regular employment. Additionally, even when the alignment between work and major was low, higher satisfaction with various educational programs at the university was associated with higher overall job satisfaction. Based on these results, the study aims to provide various implications for the formulation of higher education and employment policies.
