Abstract

This study aims to diagnose the current status and problems concerning the development and provision of human resources information systems. It seeks to come up with measures to help improve database and information infrastructures, which serve as framework for the efficient development and provision of human resources information. In particular, this study divided the scope of human resources information system into four areas: the education market, the labor market, demand and supply of human resources, and human resources development policies. Considering the inherent link among these areas, the study proposes measures to efficiently establish a comprehensive human resources information system. As a result, this study proposes several efficient measures to establish a comprehensive human resources information system. First, a basic human resource information system should be developed and provided to build a network among information systems. Second, a legal foundation for the production and provision of human resources information systems must be established. Third, a human resources information system should conform with the systems of medication, consultation and assessment etc. between the education sector and the labor market.
