IT전문인력 공급실태 조사

Abstract

이 연구는 다음과 같은 목적을 갖고 있다. 첫째, IT 전문인력 공급의 기술분야(업종)별, 기술수준별, 직업별 실태를 파악한다. IT 전문인력의 IT직종으로의 구직의도 및 취업의사 조사를 조사하고 IT비정규교육기관을 통한 IT인력공급 실태 및 추이를 파악한다. 또한 해외 및 특수대학원 석·박사 졸업생에 대한 실태조사를 실시한다. 둘째, IT 전문인력 공급 실태와 현황을 정확히 파악하여 수급간 발생하는 불일치의 원인을 분석하여 어떤 변화와 정책이 필요한지 분석한다. 셋째, IT전공-직종간 연결을 통한 전공 유사성지수의 재개발을 추진한다. 넷째, IT 산업 현장에 적합한 분류를 적용하여 조사된 IT 전문인력 공급실태의 시계열 자료를 축적하여 IT분야정책 개발이나 다른 관련 연구 분석에 필요한 기초 자료를 지속적으로 제공한다. 다섯째, IT 전문인력의 공급 실태조사가 주는 정책적 시사점을 도출한다.

The rapid developments in IT industry bring difficulty in assessing the labor demand by the IT sector. For a constant development in the IT industry, we ought to invest in R&D resources let alone in specialized IT workforce that would assist the economic growth through the leading industry of the nation. As for now, we lack the data to assess the level of specialized IT workforce and their immediate transfer possibility to the industry. Therefore, we need the basic statistical data infrastructure to understand the transition the IT-trained graduates make into the labor force. In this research, we look into the recent school-to-work transitions the IT-specialized laborers made to understand the supply side of the IT workforce. Then, we would understand what may have caused the discrepancy between supply and demand of the IT workforce. We also devise an index to measure the similarity between various IT-related school programs based on the sample survey. Thereafter, we propose ways to improve the current situation of IT workforce supply and demand discrepancy.
