청소년을 위한 해외진로 정보수집 및 구축방안

Abstract

해외 진로정보 관련 자료를 확보하기 위하여 일차적으로 문헌연구 및 인터넷 사이트를 조사하였고, 청소년들의 해외취업에 대한 인식과 알고 싶은 진로정보 파악을 위해 해외진로정보에 대한 청소년들의 활용실태를 청소년 200명 대상으로 면접 조사를 하였다. 또한 청소년에게 필요한 해외 진로 및 취업 정보 관련 정보를 얻기 위해 해외에서 취업한 전문가들과 면대면 혹은 이메일 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 이 연구는 예비조사를 실시한 결과 일반 초ㆍ중ㆍ고생들의 경우 해외진로에 대한 인식의 부족으로 충분한 답변이 나오지 않아 해외유학박람회에 참가한 청소년(고등학생과 대학생)을 중심으로 과거 본인의 경험에 비추어 볼 때 청소년에게 필요한 해외진로정보에 관하여 답변하게 하여 분석하였기 때문에 모든 청소년의 경우로 일반화할 수 없는 것이 연구의 제한점이라고 할 수 있다.

This research tries to present the method of collecting and constructing the overseas career information for young people as the infra system of overseas job information, overseas career path information is not available. The current career information for youth mainly focused on the domestic information. The overseas experts were interviewed to provide the information on the importance of overseas employment, the essential information for overseas employment, such as types of occupations and countries, the methods by which the overseas job information is transferred to the youth, and success factors and strategy of obtaining overseas job. The following suggestions are presented to collect and construct the overseas career information of youth. The government needs to design the long-term road-map for collecting and constructing the overseas career information, introduce the overseas career information to the students through foreign language-teaching teachers, operate the public web-sites for overseas job information, construct a system linking and evaluating overseas internship, service programs and overseas employment, and finally develop and distribute the overseas job world report . The policy suggestions are presented as follows. The universities are requested to change the perception of overseas jobs by college students, provide the basic materials and information on overseas employment, develop the communication skills by the students, build the overseas employment assistance center and finally establish overseas branch for overseas network. Schools at elementary and secondary levels need to provide the overseas career and job information to the students, link the curriculum and overseas employment, construct the network of overseas career path and employment for youth, and finally utilize the cyber room for overseas expert-mentee.
