여성의 경력단절 예방을 위한 육아휴직 후 복귀프로그램 개발

Abstract

본 사업에서는 육아휴직 복귀자들에게 필요한 정보 및 유용한 교육내용을 조사한 후 복귀 후 적응과정에서 어려움 대처방법 등에 대한 교육과정을 개발하여 원활한 직장적응을 도울 수 있는 복귀지원 프로그램을 마련하고자 하였다.

1. Purpose of Developing a Program to Support Return from Parental Leave ○ When it comes to women's employment rate in Korea, it is similar to that of men when women are in their 20s, but it plummets after they reach in their 30s, as they go through childbirth and child-rearing, which clearly shows a continuous trend of career interruption. Although the number of people who take parental leave is growing, the rate of returning to and staying at work after parental leave remains at a low level. There are many reasons behind this failure of parental leave to prevent career discontinuation: the difficulty in returning to work, along with the difficulty of adjusting to the changed work environment at workplace; guilt about children; and difficulty of work-family balance. ○ To support a smooth return, a standard training program is developed to provide information and ways to women who are returning to work from parental leave to help them deal with these difficulties.
