- BEAR 2차 사업의 주요 목표는 국가 발전 전략 차원에서 선정된 산업분야에 숙련된 인적자원 양성을 위한 방법론을 적용하여 각 수원국의 직업교육훈련체제 개선을 통한 청년층에게 양질의 일자리 제공 및 자영업을 효과적으로 육성할 수 있는 환경 제공에 있다고 할 수 있다. BEAR 사업은 하기의 3가지 성과지표 창출을 목표로 사업이 실행된다.
○ TVET 적절성 신장 : 변화하는 노동시장의 기술수요를 반영한 직업교육훈련 교육과정 개발
○ TVET 질 강화 : TVET 훈련기관 및 교사들의 역량개발
○ TVET 인식 개선 : 사회, 기업, 청년층 사이에서 TVET의 인식 개선을 통한 학습자들에게 매력적인 교육 선택권으로서 자리매김 지원
상기 주요 사업실행 관련 활동은 수원국 내의 TVET 관련 정부부처 및 공공기관과 함께 계획되었으며, 사업 수행기간을 넘어서 사업성과의 지속성 강화를 위하여 TVET 체계와 경제/산업부문 주요 관계자들과의 지속적인 공생관계를 유지하는데 본 사업의 의의가 있다.
The Better Education for Africa’s Rise (BEAR) II is a five-year UNESCO Project supported by the Republic of Korea, to be implemented from 2016 to 2021 in selected countries in Eastern Africa. The five beneficiary countries of the project are Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, the United Republic of Tanzania and Uganda. The project aims at enhancing the relevance, quality and perception of the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) system in the selected countries through specific sectoral interventions. This objective is to be achieved by means of improving the knowledge base and capacity of the TVET systems, in order to contribute towards evidence-based policy-making and its implementation in the field of skills development. ...
