대학생 및 성인의 진로 특성과 진로개발 관계 분석

Abstract

최근 우리 사회의 진로경로가 다양해지면서 진로교육 및 진로개발에 대한 요구와 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 그런데 지금까지의 진로교육 관련 연구와 정책 시행이 학령기 청소년에 초점을 두고 진행됨에 따라, 대학생 및 성인의 진로 특성에 대한 연구는 양적·질적으로 다소 미흡한 편이다. 이러한 문제의식에 근거하여 이 연구는 대학생 및 일반 성인을 대상으로 실시된 대규모 심리검사 데이터를 분석하여 진로 특성을 종합적으로 파악하고, 향후 진로교육 및 진로개발 정책과 프로그램의 수립 및 적용에 필요한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 대학생과 성인의 진로 특성은 하위 요인별로 높고 낮음이 뚜렷하였고, 성별 및 연령대에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 진로 특성과 진로개발 간 상관관계가 하위 요인별로 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 고려할 때, 진로교육 정책을 수립하기에 앞서 대상별 진로 특성을 사전에 고려할 필요가 있고, 맞춤형 프로그램을 개발·적용하여 다양화 및 차별화된 진로지원을 실시할 필요가 있으며, 대규모의 심리검사를 더욱 확충하여 대학생 및 성인의 진로개발에 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively understand career characteristics and career development of college students and adults and to analyze relationship of them. For this, large-scale psychological test data conducted by 11,129 college students and 5,805 adults were analyzed statistically. As a result, career characteristics were clearly represented high and low by factors, and were significantly different by gender and age. In addition, most of factors of career characteristics and career development were significantly related each other. Considering theses results, 3 suggestions were presented in this study. First, it is necessary to examine career characteristics of college students and adults thoroughly before establishing career education policy. Second, it is important to develop and provide customized programs for differentiated career support to recipient. Third, it is needed to expand and supply large-scale psychological tests and give more information for developing career of college students and adults.
