A Research of Current Status and Activation Tasks of Participation of Local Governments in Career Education

Abstract

Through the cooperation of schools and communities, learning experience is provided by utilizing various resources in the community, and diverse educational policies for learning and growth are being pursued. The current government is preparing an autonomous education road map for the realization of educational autonomy, and it is expected that the participation of local governments in career education will be further expanded due to the realization of education autonomy according to local characteristics and circumstances. However, there is a real perception that participation of career education in local governments is different according to the financial condition of the local government and the will of the decision maker. It is necessary to examine what is needed to activate at present, which is expected to be expanded in the future, as municipal organizations are participating in career education. The purpose of this research is to find out the policy issues needed to activate the participation of local governments in career education.
