고등학생의 진로성숙도와 행복에 미치는 영향변인 분석 및 학교유형에 따른 차이분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 대학 입시 혹은 노동시장으로의 이행을 앞둔 고등학생들의 행복과 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고 연구모형에 포함된 영향 요인들이 학교유형별로 유의미한 차이를 나타내는지 잠재평균 분석을 통해 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국직업능력개발원의 한국 교육 고용패널조사II(KEEP II) 1차년도 데이터를 사용하였고, 일반고, 자율고, 특목고, 특성화고의 4개 유형별 고등학교 2학년에 재학 중인 6,449명의 학생용 데이터가 분석에 활용되었다. 학생 개인의 자아인식, 아버지의 정서적 지원, 학생 개인의 학습 태도, 미래 희망 직업 결정 여부가 진로성숙도 및 행복과 어떠한 관계를 갖는지 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로성숙도와 행복에는 자아인식, 부지원, 장래희망 여부 및 학습태도가 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 고등학교 유형에 따라 자아인식, 부지원, 학습태도, 진로성숙도, 행복의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 학교유형에 따른 차이가 유의한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 학습태도를 제외하고, 특목고, 자율고, 일반고, 특성화고 순으로 자아인식, 부지원, 진로성숙도, 행복이 높았다. 이상의 논의를 기반으로 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점 및 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect career maturity and happiness of high school students who are about to enter the university or the labor market. To verify this, data from the Korea Education Employment Development Institute’s Korea Education Employment Panel Survey II (KEEP II) 1st-year data (6,449 high school students) were used.

The results are as follows.

First, self-concept, support of father, learning attitude, and future hope had a significant effect on career maturity and happiness.

Second, as a result of examining the differences of self-concept, support of father, learning attitude, career maturity, and happiness according to the type of high school, the differences according to school type were found to be significant. Except for learning attitude, self―concept, support of father, career maturity, and happiness were found in the order of special purpose, autonomous, general, and vocational high school.

Based on the above discussions, implications and policy implications were suggested.
