학습전략이 주관적 학업성취를 통해 내신 등급에 미치는 영향 : 조절된 매개효과를 고려한 다항회귀분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 학업성취에 두 가지 학습전략(창의 융합적, 반복 암기식)이 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 위해 한국직업능력개발원의 ‘한국교육고용패널 Ⅱ 1 2차(2016~2017) 자료를 활용하였다. 독립변수로는 창의 융합적 학습전략과 반복 암기식 학습전략을, 조절 변수로는 학업노력을 사용하였으며, 국어, 영어, 수학, 사회, 과학의 각 과목별 학업성취에 있어 주관적 성취를 매개변수로, 객관적 성취인 등급을 종속변수로 하였다. 연구 방법으로는 두 가지 학습전략의 적합성 분석을 위해 다항회귀분석과 반응표면방법론을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 학업노력은 두 가지 학습전략의 적합성과 각 학업성취의 세부 영역과의 영향 관계를 조절하였다.

연구 결과에서 모든 과목에 공통적으로 나타난 결과로는 학습전략이 불일치할 경우 창의 융합적 학습전략이 반복 암기식 학습전략보다 더 중요하게 작용함을 보였다. 특히 주관적 학업성취에서보다 객관적 학업성취에서, 학업노력 수준이 낮은 경우에서보다 높은 경우에서 창의 융합적 학습전략이 더 중요하게 작용하였다. 또한 각 과목에 따라, 학업노력 정도에 따라, 주관적 객관적 학업성취에 따라 두 가지 학습전략이 미치는 영향을 탐색적으로 분석하였으며 관계의 양상이 다르게 나타난 것을 확인하였다.

본 연구의 결과를 통해 고등학교 학업 현장에서의 각 과목별 창의 융합적 학습전략 및 반복 암기식 학습전략이 미치는 영향의 차이를 확인할 수 있다. 또한 창의 융합형 인재가 요구되는 지식기반 사회에서 학습자 측면에서의 접근과, 개별화된 맞춤형 교수설계 및 학습전략 수립의 이해에 보탬이 될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of learning strategies which is creativity and integration, and repetition and memorization on academic achievement in high school, using the Korea Education and Employment Panel Ⅱ (KEEP Ⅱ) 2016~2017 data of KRIVET.

In this study, the independent variables are creativity and integration learning strategy and repetition and memorization learning strategy, the moderator is the academic effort, the dependent variables are subjective learning outcome and objective learning outcome. The polynomial regression and response surface methodology were mainly used for data analysis.

The results in this study shows that creativity and integration learning strategy plays a more important role in the effect on subjective and objective academic achievement. The patterns of response surfaces were found to differ according to the subjects and the level of academic effort.

Finally, with these results, this study examined the differential effect among subjects on creativity and integration and repetition and memorization learning strategy. Hence, this study expected to the understanding of learners’ approach and individualized instructional design, learning strategy in the knowledge-based society.
