본 연구는 일자리 변동성 강화라는 시대적 흐름에 대비하기 위한 기초 연구로서 프랑스의 경험학습인증제의 주요한 내용을 검토하고 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 미래 환경 변화에 대응하는 주요한 기제로서의 경험학습인증 제도에 대한 이론적 배경 및 필요성에 대한 검토를 수행한다. 다음으로 프랑스 경험학습인증 제도의 연혁과 내용을 살펴보고, 운영의 구체적 방법 및 재정적 지원 등에 대한 소개와 분석을 수행한다. 마지막으로 프랑스 경험학습인증 제도의 성과와 한계를 여타의 프랑스 훈련제도와 연계하여 검토하고 시사점을 찾는다.
