대학 졸업자의 고용 실태 분석 : 일류대학 인기학과를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구의 일류대학의 경상계열, 이공계열 졸업자의 고용 실태를 정확히 파악하여 노동시장에서 그들의 위상을 확인하고, 인적자원의 효율적인 활용 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 따른 세부적인 연구 목적은 첫째, 과도한 고학력 지향에 따른 4년제 대학 졸업자의 고용실태 파악하고, 둘째, 일류대학 출신 졸업자의 고용 실태를 파악하여 그들이 적재적소에서 전공을 살리면서 노동시장에서 그에 상응한 대우를 받고 있는가를 분석하고, 셋째, 고학력화에 따른 인적자원의 효과적인 활용 방안을 제시하는 것이다.

After the Korean War, in the process of achieving rapid economic growth, Korea experienced high population rate and the collapse of the feudal system. People's desire to rise their status both socially and economically made the education market ever more large with education fever. Moreover, the rapid economic growth and changes in industrial structure have also changed each school's enrollment rate and system. Economic growth has brought about positive results such as increase in income and expansion in higher education opportunities but it has also caused negative results. The immense education fever has lead to spending immense private education fees to attain social reputation, fast promotion opportunities, and high income. All of these factors have lead to fierce university entrance competition, everyone wanting to go to the most prestigious school in popular departments. In addition, the popularization of higher-education has brought about imbalance of university graduates and unemployment problems. Especially, during the restructuring of IMF system, the distortion of labour market could be seen in employment problem for university graduates, discord of manpower supply and demand, and major-work disparity. Due to the fierce competition of renowned universities there is waste in education investment and discord in private and social profit, giving rise social to loss.
