평생직업능력개발 매체로서 한국직업방송 운영 및 역할 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 평생직업능력개발 매체로서 한국직업방송 운영 진단 및 역할 탐색을 통하여 변화하는 미디어 환경을 반영하는 한국직업방송의 미래 비전을 제시하고자 한다. 구체적으로 변화하는 환경에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 한국직업방송이 되기 위해서는 한국직업방송에 대한 현황 및 문제점 등을 파악함으로써 현재 한국직업방송의 역할 및 기능에 관한 환경분석을 실시한다. 현 상황에 대한 진단 및 분석을 기반으로, 관련 사례 소개와 전문가들의 의견을 분석하여 한국직업방송의 운영 모델과 발전 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

TV WORKNET is a channel operated by the Human Resources Development Service of South Korea to support the government's "public employment service" by providing job and employment information, job skills enhancement, and career guidance on TV. As the only channel geared toward vocational skill development in South Korea, it has thus far contributed to improving job competencies nationwide. Notably, 2,160 programs (as of 2017) have been produced annually for young job seekers, career-interrupted women, elderly people (who are scheduled to retire), and vulnerable groups.
