실업계 고교 입학생 감소 대응 및 진로정보 체제 구축 방안 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 상기와 같은 필요성과 문제 인식에 따라 실업계 고교를 활성화하기 위한 입학생 감소 대응 방안과 진로정보 체제를 구축할 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 데 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 선행연구 분석을 하였으며, 둘째, 입학생 감소 요인 분석과 2010년까지 실업계 고교에 대한 진학 수요를 전망하였으며, 셋째, 입학생의 감소 및 진로정보에 대한 실태조사 분석을 통해 입학생 감소의 문제점과 대응 방안을 파악하였다. 이와 더불어 전문가협의회를 개최하여 연구의 질을 보완하였다. 이상의 연구 내용을 종합하여 실업계 고교 입학생 감소에 대응하여 교육적？사회적？경제적 차원에서의 교육 경쟁력 확보를 위한 방안 및 진로정보 체제 구축 방안을 제시하였다.

Due to many changes of social circumstances such as transformed consciousness for vocation in intelligent society, increased national income, ambitious desire for higher education resulting from a nuclear family and decreasing student numbers, vocational high schools find no way to get out of a serious impasse. The critical problems have been first of all generated from continuingly decreasing numbers of applicants which consequently and directly, have reduced the numbers of vocational high schools and overall numbers of students. Indirectly, the problems have also triggered negative factors such as deteriorated financial situations, excessive instructors in numbers, slowing investments in school facilities, lowered educational achievement followed by shortage of the instruments for experiment and distending idle facilities. This study is purposed to deal with the problems on decreased applicant students in vocational high schools and to find solvable measures, and then to establish the encouraging guidance system for making ways to vocational high schools. In order to approach the purpose of this study, the author firstly conducted a preceding study and advanced analysis, secondly, figured to forecast the numbers of students who would enter vocational high schools by 2010, thirdly, grasped the schemes with problems on decreasing student numbers and students？ desire for higher education through Q&A format and its remedial measures.
