직업계고 학생의 개인적 자원유형에 따른 진학 및 취업 이동 조사 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 직업계고 학생의 개인적 자원과 졸업 이후 이동 경로를 확인하기 위하여 진행하였다. 선행연구를 고찰하여 직업계고 학생의 개인적 특성 변수, 학교 관련 변수, 진로 및 취업 교육 경험 관련 변수, 가정생활 변수를 통하여 직업계고 학생의 개인적 자원을 개념화하였다. 이를 바탕으로 KEEP Ⅱ에서 활용 가능한 변수를 중심으로 1차 자료를 활용하여 잠재 프로파일 분석을 시행하였다. 결과적으로, 직업계고 학생의 취업 관련 개인적 자원을 취업준비유예형, 취업준비탐색형, 취업준비성숙형으로 세 가지 유형으로 구분하였다. 추가로, KEEP II의 3~5차 자료를 활용하여 개인적 자원의 유형별로 ‘대학재학’, ‘노동시장참여’, ‘기타’의 이동경로를 생키 다이어그램(Sankey Diagram)을 이용하여 추적하였다. 각 유형별로 직업계고를 졸업하고 3년이 경과한 후 취업경로에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 직업계고 학생의 안정적인 노동시장 정착을 위한 개인, 학교, 그리고 정부의 차원에서 필요한 시사점을 논의하였다.

This study aims to confirm the relationship between the personal resources of vocational high school students and their labor market mobility after high school graduation. The study derived employment-related personal resources for vocational high school students by reviewing previous research. The Korean Educational Employment Panel II (KEEP II) was used for Latent Profile Analysis (LPA). Results of LPA for 3,615 students from vocational education high school identified three distinct profiles: Profile 1, Employment Delayed preparation type, comprised 27.6% of the total sample, and showed a lower level of personal resources. Profile 2, Employment Preparation Exploring type, comprised 50.3% of the total sample, showing the level of an average indicator. Profile 3 (22.1%), Employment Preparation Mature type, had a higher rate of all the indicators of employment-related personal resources. The mobility of the students ？ as a ‘College Student,’ ‘Employee,’ and ‘Other’ were traced by the type of personal resources using the 3rd, 4th, and 5th data of KEEP II. For each type of profile, there was a significant difference in the employment path after three years of graduating from vocational high school. Based on the results of this study, the implications were discussed as necessary for establishing a stable labor market for vocational high school students at the individual, school, and government levels.
