교과 흥미와 효능감 정도에 따른 대학 진학 계열과의 상응성 및 계열별 만족도 분석 연구

Abstract

고등학교 학생들의 학업 생활은 장차 대학 진학 및 미래의 직업 생활과 연관되므로 매우 중요하다. 이 연구는 대부분의 고등학생들이 대학에 진학하는 현 상황에서 학생들의 교과 흥미와 교과 효능감에 따른 대학 진학 계열과의 상관관계 및 계열별 만족도를 분석한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 2004년도에 실시한 일반계 고등학교 학생들의 설문 조사 내용 중 교과에 대한 흥미와 효능감에 대한 문항을 분석한 후, 2005년도에 이들의 대학 진학 계열을 추적 조사하여 그 상관 관계를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 학생들의 교과 흥미, 교과 효능감과 대학 진학 계열과는 상관관계가 높고, 또한 계열별 만족도도 높은 것을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구는 고교 교육과정의 Track화, 즉, 개인의 흥미와 효능감을 고려한 교과 교육과정 설계의 필요성을 제기하고, 학생들이 올바른 진로 탐색을 할 수 있도록 학업과 관련된 진로교육이 적절하게 이루어져야 함을 제안한다.

High school student's school work is very important because it is related with going on to university and getting their job in the future. This study investigates the correlation between high school students' interest and efficacy in a subject, and their choice in departments and their degree of contentment in the departments of their choice of university. In this study, we analyzed the questions regarding the students' subject interest and subject efficacy among the general high school students' survey done in 2004. We did a follow-up survey their choice of departments of university in 2005 and examined the correlation. In conclusion, this study affirms that there is a high correlation between student's choice of department of university with subject interest, subject efficacy and also a high degree of contentment in their selected department by their subject interest and subject efficacy. Therefore, this study suggests that we should design high school curriculum by students' subject interest and subject efficacy. We should offer career education related with students' school work for students to search their career properly.
