학생이 인식한 교과흥미·교과성취가 직업결정에 미치는 영향

Abstract

이 연구는‘한국교육고용패널(Korean Education Employment Panel)’데이터를 사용하여 고등학생의 교과흥미와 교과성취가 직업결정에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 고등학교에서 직업교육과 진로지도는 미래 직업을 결정하는 일을 도와줄 뿐 아니라, 사회적으로 생산성 있는 인적자원을 양성한다는 측면에서 중요하다. 그러나 직업결정은 다양한 요인에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에 단순하게 설명하기에는 한계가 있다. 이 연구는 고등학교에서 8개 교과(국어, 수학, 영어, 과학, 사회, 음악, 미술, 체육)학습이 직업결정에 미치는 영향을 성별과 계열로 구분하여 각각 분석하고 있다. 독립변수는 8개 교과흥미와 교과성취이며, 통제변수로 자기효능감, 적성, 직업정보, 진로지도 등이며, 종속변수는 직업결정 여부이다. 통계분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 교차분석, t-test, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 고등학생의 교과학습이 직업결정에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는지 확인함으로써 고등학생의 효율적인 직업교육을 위한 정보를 확인할 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate influences on vocational decision making of subject interest and achievement in high school by using a data from the Korean Education Employment Panel(KEEP). Vocational education and career guidance in high school are very important because not only it helps choose a right career but also grows human resources in socal productivity. But because vocational decision making is effected by many types of contexts and variables, we also have the limit to explain it in simple way. This study is seeks into influences vocational decision making of 8 subjects(Korean, Mathematics, English, Science, Social study, Music, Art, Athletics) according to gender and tracking(academic and vocational).

To find factors that affect the vocational decision making, I select independent variables; Subjects interest and Achievement, control variables; Self efficacy, Attitude, Vocational information, Career guidance etc, and dependent variable; Vocational decision making. I use the SPSS program to analyze Descriptive results, Crosstab, t-test and Logistics regression. The findings of the study are to provide us with information for career and vocational education on high school students.
