일반계 고등학교 직업과정 운영의 실태분석 및 개선방안

Abstract

본 연구는 일반계 고등학교 직업과정의 실태 및 요구를 파악하고 분석함으로써 일반계 고등학교 직업과정을 보다 효과적이고 효율적으로 운영할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 구체적인 연구의 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반계 고등학교 직업과정의 전반적인 개요와 현황을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 직업과정 운영에 필요한 시사점을 도출한다. 둘째, 일반계 고등학교 직업과정을 위탁하거나 실시하고 있는 교육훈련기관의 기관장, 교원, 학생 등을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 요구사항을 조사하고 실태를 파악한다. 셋째, 일반계 고등학교 직업과정 운영의 개선방안을 제시한다.

The primary purpose of this study is to appraise the current status of vocational education in general high schools and present strategies for its further development. First, to accomplish the objectives of this study, the overview, the current operational status, and problems inherent in vocational courses in general high schools were explored by reviewing related literature and analyzing related statistical data. Second, meetings were held with parties that have expertise in the field to determine the details of the study contents and validate the survey methodology. Third, a mail survey and field interviews were conducted among principals, teachers, and students in those general high schools which offered vocational courses. The survey and interviews were conducted in order to ascertain the problems, perceptional differences, and needs for improvement in the various operating areas and items. Finally, a seminar was held to present the study results as well as to invite comments and open discussions. Through this process, the strategies for further development of vocational education in general high schools are presented as the study conclusions. ...
