진로결정 수준 변화의 영향 요인

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널의 전국규모 종단자료를 이용하여 진로결정수준 변화의 패턴을 살펴보고, 변화에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하였다. 진로결정수준 변화의 양상은 3년간 지속적으로 증가하는 패턴을 보여주고 있으며, 특별히 선형적인 변화를 나타내었다. 또한 초기치와 변화율의 상관이 -.721(p<.001)로 부적으로 나타나 1차년도의 진로결정수준 요인의 크기가 높을수록, 진로결정수준 변화율의 증가 폭이 느리게 진행됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 진로결정수준의 초기치에 영향을 주는 변수로는 자기효능감, 개인고민, 진학계열, 비행, 진로관련대화, 학업성취 등이며, 진로결정수준의 변화율에 관련이 있는 변수는 자기효능감, 진학계열, 비행, 진로관련대화, 학업성취 등으로 나타났다. 이를 통해서 우리나라 청소년의 시간경과에 따른 진로결정수준의 변화 경향을 살펴볼 수 있었으며, 진로결정수준의 변화와 그 양상이 개인간 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 진로결정수준의 초기치와 변화 결정에 영향을 주는 주요한 요인들을 파악 할 수 있었다.

This study analyzes the factors influencing career decision and its change in Korean youth and use a sample from KEEP(Korea Education and Employment Panel 1-3) data. The results are reported as follows. First, the career decision level of the youth in Korea is gradually increased with linear transformations. Also, interrelationship between intercept and slope of career decision level is statically significant(-.721); it means that if the factor of intercept of career decision level is height, an increasing rate of slope will be reduced. Second, analysis of Latent Growth Models shows that self-efficiency, source of anxiety, entrance system into higher grade, juvenile delinquency, dialogues with parents on their child entrance and academic achievement are found to be a statically significant factor on intercept of career decision level and self-efficiency, entrance system into higher grade, juvenile delinquency, conversation with parents on their child entrance and academic achievement influencing slope of career decision level. These findings indicate that career decision level of the youth in Korea is linear tendency and various factors such as self-efficiency, source of anxiety, entrance system into higher grade, juvenile delinquency, dialogues with parents on their child entrance and academic achievement are much more influential on student's career decision. These results suggest that we should improve family environment, school careers programs and encourage to students who had trouble in career decision
