수업, 공부, 과외와 학업성취 간의 인과관계 종단분석

Abstract

이 연구는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 1차~3차 자료를 이용하여 중등학교 학생의 학습과 학업성취와의 인과관계를 종단적으로 분석하였다. 종단적 분석을 위해서 중학교 3학년 시기의 가정배경, 학습, 학업성취, 고등학교 1학년 학습, 학업성취, 고등학교 2학년 학습, 학업성취를 잠재변인으로 하여 구조방정식 모형을 설정하였다. 분석은 기술통계, 상관분석, 경로분석을 위해 SPSS와 LISREL 프로그램을 사용하였다. 분석결과 가정배경은 학생의 학업성취에 직접 영향을 미치기 보다는 학습활동에 영향을 미치며, 중학교의 학업성취와 학습활동은 고등학교 학업성취와 학습활동에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 탐색되었다. 이러한 분석결과는 중등학교 학생의 학습활동과 학업성취를 이해하는데 중요한 정보로 활용될 것으로 여겨진다.

Using a sample from the KEEP, this study analyzes learning(instruction, study, extracurricular work(out of school learning) and academic achievement longitudinally. For analysis, 7 latent variables(Junior high school third grader FAMILY, LEARNING, ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, High school first grader LEARNING, ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, High school second grader LEARNING, ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT) and 15 observed variables are organized into a structural equation model. I used the SPSS and LISREL programs to analyze descriptive result, correlation and path. The findings of this analysis will be used information for the understanding of academic achievement and learning.
