직업계고 졸업자의 직장만족도 잠재계층과 이직의 관련성

Abstract

본 연구는 취업한 직업계고 졸업자의 직장만족도 유형의 잠재 계층을 분류하고, 각 잠재 계층에 따라 이직에 차이가 있는지 관련성을 확인하였다. 이를 위해 우선, 잠재 전이 분석을 활용하여 직장 만족도의 잠재계층과 잠재 계층 전이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하였다. 한국직업능력연구원의 한국교육 고용패널 Ⅱ(KEEP Ⅱ)의 3차년에서 6차년 자료 중 직업계고를 졸업 이후 현재까지 일자리 경험이 있는 1,077명의 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 잠재 집단의 수는 4개년도에서 3개, 2개, 3개, 3개로 나타났다. 이 잠재 집단별 특성을 반영하여 ‘높은수준 만족집단’, ‘중간수준 만족집단’, 그리고 ‘불만족집단’으로 명명하였다. 둘째, 출신학교 유형과 최종학력은 잠재 프로파일을 구분하는 데 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 잠재 전이 분석 결과, 시간이 지남에 따라 집단의 전이가 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 직장 만족도 프로파일별로 이직과 관계를 검증하여 직업계고 졸업자의 경력 발전의 방향성에 관한 시사점을 도출하였다.

This study employs latent transition analysis to delineate distinct classes of job satisfaction among employed vocational high school graduates and investigates potential variations in job change behavior within each identified latent class. Utilizing data spanning the 3rd to sixth years of the Korea Education and Employment Panel II (KEEP II) from 1,077 individuals with post-graduation work experience, the research identifies three distinct latent groups over four years, categorized as the ‘high-level satisfaction group,’ ‘medium-level satisfaction group,’ and ‘dissatisfaction group,’ each characterized by unique attributes. Moreover, the attended vocational high school and the level of education emerge as significant determinants in distinguishing these latent profiles. The findings further validate the existence of work-transitional dynamics within these groups over time. Lastly, this study establishes a definitive link between job satisfaction profiles and subsequent job change behavior, providing valuable insights into the career trajectories of employed vocational high school graduates.
