고차 잠재성장 모형을 이용한 대학생의 진로 준비행동에 관한 종단 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생들의 진로 준비행동에 대한 종단적 변화 추이와 그에 대한 개인차를 알아보기 위해 고차적 잠재 성장모형을 이용하여 종단 분석을 하였다. 이를 위해 2차년도(2006년도)부터 5차년도(2008년도)까지의 한국교육고용패널 자료 중 대학생 자료를 사용하여 분석을 실행하였다. 유의미한 결과를 중심으로 그 결과를 정리하면, 첫째 전체 대학생의 진로 준비행동 평균 초기치는 3.397이었으며 평균 변화율 .146씩 증가하는 선형 변화를 보이고 있었다. 또한, 2-3차년도 사이에 가장 많은 증가가 이루어지고 전체 증가의 85.2%가 3차년도 내에 이루어졌다. 둘째, 진로 준비행동에 대한 초기치와 변화율의 관계는 부적으로 나타나 진로 준비행동에 대한 초기치가 낮은 학생일수록 학년이 올라갈수록 증가율의 속도가 빨랐다. 셋째, 진로 준비행동에 대한 개인차는 초기치와 변화율 모두에서 유의한 것으로 나타났고, 개인차 예측 변수로 투입한 성별과 학교 유형에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 성별은 변화율에만 유의하고 학교 유형은 초기치에만 유의한 차이를 나타냈는데, 구체적으로 여학생은 남학생에 비해 진로 준비행동 증가율 속도가 빠르고 전문대학 학생은 4년제 대학생에 비해 진로 준비행동 초기치가 높았다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trajectory of career preparation behavior of college and university students and the difference among individuals. To achieve the purpose, the data related to college and university students from the second to fifth of KEEP (Korea Education and Employment Panel) was analyzed by Latent Growth Model(LGM).

The results are reported as follows. First, the change of career preparation was increasing linear function. The intercept of average was 3.397 and the slope of average was .146. This means that college and university students had information of career 3.397 units in the first year and developed a increasing of .146 per year. And between 2nd year and 3rd year was the most increasing year. The 85.2% of career information exploration was reached in 3rd year. Second, the correlation of intercept and slope was negative. More specifically speaking, the more cognize information of career in the first year, the less change rate later on. Third, there was difference among individuals in the trajectory of career preparation. Gender and type of school were important factor in difference among individuals. Female students had faster speed than male, and community college students had more career information in the first year than university students.
