여성전문대졸업생의 대학생활과 직장만족도 : 구직활동의 조절효과

Abstract

본 연구는 교육고용패널자료를 대상으로 전문대생의 대학생활과 직장만족도의 연계를 분석하였다. 전문대생의 대학생활에 대한 만족도가 높아질수록 직장에 대한 만족도는 높아졌다. 구직활동에 대한 노력이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향은 엇갈리게 나타났다. 취업 및 창업과 관련된 교육훈련 개수가 늘어날수록 직장과 업무에 대한 만족도는 높아지고 있다. 또한, 대학생활만족도와 대학성적이 직장만족도로 연계되는 과정에 영어교육유무는 긍정적인 상호작용을 하고 있다. 따라서 비록 구직활동이 양면의 가치를 띠고 있어도 대체적으로 전문대생의 직장만족도를 높이는 데 긍정적인 역할을 하고 있다. 한국사회에서 전문대학은 대학교와 비교하여 사회의 관심을 덜 받고 있어서 여러 가지로 불이익을 겪고 있다. 전문대학생의 대학생활에 대한 만족도와 구직활동은 이들이 졸업 후 직장생활을 하는 데 상당한 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 앞으로 한국 사회는 전문대학의 교육수준을 향상시키는 데 보다 많은 노력을 기울여야겠다.

This study analyzes educational panel on the relationship between college life and job satisfaction of women college graduates. Higher college satisfaction increases job satisfaction of college students. Job training programs increase job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction relative to her competency becomes lower when they are job training programs. Moreover, English study and the number of job training programs positively affect the effect of college satisfaction on job satisfaction of women college graduates. Thus, although there are conflicting aspects, job training programs contribute to the job satisfaction. The results of the study suggest that college life positively affects their job experiences. However, Korean society neglects the importance of college relative to university. Thus, Korean society exerts efforts toward enhancing the quality of college education.
