대학생 학업성취 잠재성장모형 탐색

Abstract

대학생들의 학업성취변화를 설명하는데 적합한 모형 탐색과 그 모형에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대해서 2005-2008 KEEP자료(cohort 2)로 분석하였다. 첫째, 학업성취백분율 점수를 활용한 3차년도 변화모형이 가장 적합한 모형으로 나타났다. 이는 다른 학년들 사이에서의 성취변화보다 2학년에서 3학년으로의 학업 성취 변화가 가장 크다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 최적모형을 기초로 대학생들의 학업성취 변화에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석한 결과 개인특성의 경우 학생들 자신 또는 그 주변상황에 대한 고민이 많은 학생일수록 성취도변화에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 가정환경 또한 가정환경이 좋은 학생일수록 성취수준의 변화가 높게 나타났다. 하지만 학교특성은 학교에 대한 만족 등이 높은 학생일수록 성취수준 변화가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학업성취 변화를 설명하는데 있어서 원점수를 활용한 모형보다는 가치부가점수를 활용한 모형이 변화의 양상을 파악하는데 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

This study analyzes the most adequate model and various facts influencing the model to explain University students’ academic achievement changes by using panel date ranging from 2005 to 2008(cohort 2), provided a sample from the KEEP. First, the third changing model using the percental of students’ academic achievement is the most fittest model. It means that the academic achievement from second year to third shows larger changes than any other years. Secondly, as college students’ academic achievement changes based on the fittest model is analyzed, it is shown that especially in personal characteristics, the more a student worries about himself or his background, the more he develops his academic achievement. Also the better home background is, the more the academic achievement is accomplished. In school background, however, the higher the students’ satisfaction to school backgrounds, the lower the changes of academic achievement is. Lastly, When explaining changes of academic achievement, the model using value-added score is more adequate than raw-data score to understand the aspects of the changing.
