대학졸업자의 취업에 영향을 미치는 요인분석

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 대학졸업자들의 취업에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 분석하였다. 대졸자의 취업 요인 분석 결과, 전문대학 졸업생은 여성이 취업할 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 자격증의 효과가 뚜렷하게 취업에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 4년제 졸업생은 의약계열이나 예체능계열에서 취업할 가능성이 더 높았으며, 직업훈련을 경험한 경우에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 수능성적을 포함한 4년제 대졸자의 경우, 수능점수가 높은 경우에 취업에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 정규 및 대기업 취업 요인 분석 결과, 전문대 졸업생은 여성이 취업할 확률이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 인문계열은 사회계열보다는 정규직으로 취업할 확률이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전문대학 졸업생은 학교소재지가 서울지역인 경우 대기업에 취업할 확률이 낮았다. 4년제 졸업자의 대기업 취업은 일관되게 여성이 취업할 확률이 높은 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 데이터의 특성이 반영된 결과라고 판단된다.

This article examines the factors that affect employment of graduates from junior colleges and senior colleges using the Korea Education and Employment Panel(KEEP). The results are as follows. In case of junior colleges, gender, certificate acquisition and major have significant effect on employment probability. Female students and certificates also tend to have higher employment probability. For senior colleges, graduates who have majored in medicine, art and sports(physical education) have have a positive effect on employment probability. Also, National Scholastic Ability Test score also affect their employability. From analyzing the factors that positively influence the employment in permanent position and large enterprises are as follows. In case of junior colleges, graduates who have majored in humanities course and students from junior colleges located in Seoul tend to have negative effect on position and large enterprises employment probability. For senior colleges, female students also have a positive effect on employment probability.
