대학생들의 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 대학생들의 미래 진로결정여부에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 독립변인 중 전공만족, 수업태도, 학교생활만족도를 중심으로 인과관계를 살펴봄으로써, 대학생들의 진로탐색 및 결정을 위한 정책 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 대학생들의 진로결정여부에 따른 전공만족, 수업태도, 학교생활만족도를 비교한 결과, 진로결정을 한 집단의 전공만족, 수업태도, 학교생활만족도 점수가 진로미결정 집단보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 전공만족, 수업태도, 학교생활만족도를 독립변수로 하는 모형에 대한 통계적 유의성 및 집단분류의 정확도를 분석한 결과, 전공만족, 수업태도, 학교생활만족도에 의해 진로결정여부를 예측하는 모형은 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 셋째, 진로결정여부에 대한 개별 독립변수들의 통계적 유의성을 분석한 결과, 전공만족, 학교생활만족도를 제외한 수업태도만 진로결정여부에 유의하게 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

It is very important for the university students, who are turning from pre adulthood into adulthood, to make decisions for their career and their future job. Thus, it is meaningful to study the decision making in one’s career for university students. The purpose of this study is to advise and guide the university students in deciding their careers. The results of the research are as follows: First, university students career decision based on whether the major satisfaction, class attitudes, the result of comparing the degree of satisfaction with school life and career decisions of a group of major satisfaction, class attitude, school life satisfaction scores were higher than the group of career indecision. Second, the major satisfaction, class attitude, degree of satisfaction with school life as an independent variable in the model group for the statistical significance and accuracy of classification analysis, major satisfaction, class attitude, school life satisfaction, career decision by the model to predict whether were statistically significant. Third, career decision on whether the statistical significance of individual independent variables analyzed, major satisfaction, and life satisfaction scores than class attitude career decision on whether that was significantly influenced. Thus, the suggestions to improve the rational decision making in choosing career for the university students are as follows: Firstly, measures that could improve the self-efficacy in choosing their career must be made. Secondly, enforcement of career decision making education must be made for the students from human and social science. Thirdly, a special program in choosing the future career must be made for the students. Fourthly, the school must develop and implement programs with school social welfare in order to systemize the career counseling as well as career education for the university students.
