전문대학생의 진로 탐색 활동과 고용 여건 및 만족도의 관계

Abstract

본고는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 자료의 7차 웨이브를 이용하여 전문대학생 졸업자의 진로 탐색 활동과 노동시장에서의 고용 여건과의 상관관계를 체계적으로 규명하며, 이를 통해 전문대학생들이 용이하게 노동사회로 진출할 수 있는 방안을 마련하였다. 그 결과 진로 탐색 활동 중에서 직장 여건과 근로 조건에 긍정적 영향을 주는 요인이 그다지 많지 않았다. 그러나, 면접훈련, 학교지원서비스 이용, 워크넷 검색 등 적절한 진로 탐색 활동을 실시하면 고용 여건과 근로 조건이 양호한 직장으로 취업하는 경향이 있었다. 이렇게 진로 탐색 활동을 통해 양호한 고용 여건과 양호한 근로조건을 가진 직장에 취업한 자일수록 업무 및 직장 만족도, 개인의 발전가능성 등 일자리 만족정도가 높아지는 경향이 있었다. 이러한 결과는 전문대학 졸업자의 원활한 노동시장 이행을 위한 효과적인 직업알선프로그램을 활성화하고, 졸업 후 미취업자에게는 적절하고 내실있는 교육훈련을 제공할 필요가 있다는 점을 시사한다.

This paper is investigated systematically to the relationship between the vocational college graduates’ career exploration activities and employment conditions in the labor market using the 7th wave of Korea Education and Employment Panel (KEEP) data, and through this the college students were prepared the scheme to facilitate the labor society in advance. As a result of that, there did not find much the positive impact factors on working conditions and job conditions in the career exploration activities. However, if it appropriate the career exploration activities, for example, interview training, school support services, Work-net search, they have tended to the workplace carried out with good employment conditions and working conditions. Through this career exploration activities, the more they work on the place with the favorable employment conditions and the good working conditions, the more they tended to be improved a degree of job satisfaction, for example, the business and job satisfaction, the possibility of personal development. This results suggest that there is needed to activate the effective job placement programs for the smooth implementation of the labor market of college graduates, and to provide the appropriate and substantial education & training program for the unemployed after graduation.
