고등학교 3학년 패널을 활용한 직업가치관 잠재집단 분석 : 3회 모두 응답한 학생들을 대상으로

Abstract

이 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 1차년도, 2차년도, 그리고 5차년도의 데이터를 활용하여 고등학교 3학년의 직업 가치관에 대해 잠재집단 분석을 실시하였다. 나아가 대학교 입학 및 대학교 졸업 시기의 학생들의 직업가치관에 대한 잠재집단 변화 양상을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과 각 차 년도에 따라 학생들의 직업 가치관은 크게 다섯 가지 잠재집단으로 구분되어 현 청년층의 직업가치관의 특성에 대해 탐색할 수 있었다. 그리고 각각의 잠재집단에 속한 응답자들의 직업가치관 변화를 분석하였을 때, 시간의 흐름에 따라 직업 가치관의 변화가 이루어지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구 결과는 현 청년층이 구직활동을 준비하기 위한 과정에서 직업가치관이 어떻게 형성되고 변화하고 있는지를 탐색해야 한다는 필요성을 보여 주고 있다. 그리고 이를 통해 대학교를 비롯한 우리 사회가 청년층의 바람직한 직업가치관을 위해 어떠한 준비와 도움을 줄 수 있는지를 함께 고민해야 할 것을 제안하고 있다.

This article analyzed the career value which the 3rd grade of high-school students believed, applying the Latent Class Analysis(LCA) and using the 1st, 2nd, and 5th Korean Education and Employment Panel(KEEP). Also this article tried to examine how their career value is changed while they are college students. The result are as follows. Following the analysis of each data, the career value is divided into and composed with five latent groups. The characteristic of the latent group of the 1st data is the same as one of the 2nd data, whereas the one of the 5th data is different in that the new latent group is come up with only the 5th data. The second group, however, which were already shown in both the 1st and the 2nd group, is not described in the 5th data by the LCA. Also, even though the tendency of the latent group looks like similar among the data, there should be movement of some students while they are college students. From this article, we could analyze why professions involved to the educational area should be interested in how to help students, who are willing to get a vocation, to form their own career value.
