취업 직전 직업훈련 경험이 일자리에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 청년 구직자들이 취업 직전에 경험한 직업훈련이 취업 등 일자리에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 실험집단인 직업훈련 경험자와 비교집단인 미경험자로 구분하고, 양 집단의 차이정도와 영향요인을 파악하기 위해 독립표본 t-검증과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과, 직업훈련 경험자들의 취업 확률은 비교집단인 미경험자에 비해 낮은 편이었고, 정규직 여부에서는 통계적으로 유의미하지는 않지만 직업훈련 경험자들이 비교집단인 미경험자에 비해 약간 높은 것으로 나타났다. 직업훈련 경험자의 경우 직업훈련 기간이 길수록, 직업훈련 미경험자의 경우 학력이 높을수록 취업 확률이 높았다. 이러한 결과로 보아 청년 구직자의 수요를 반영한 훈련프로그램 개발과 훈련 내용 개선 그리고 직업훈련 홍보가 필요하다고 판단된다.

This article analyzed the impact on employment including job of the vocational training just before the job of the young job-seekers by using data of the Korea Education and Employment Panel (KEEP). In order to achieve the purpose of this study, it distinguished between the people who experienced the vocational training as the experimental group and the people who inexperienced the vocational training as the control group, and performed the independent samples t-verify and the logistic regression analysis to identify the difference and the influence factors in both groups. As the analysis results of this study, the employment probability of the people who experienced the vocational training were lower than the inexperienced people as the comparison group. But not statistically significant, whether in the full-time the people who experienced the vocational training showed slightly higher than the inexperienced people as the comparison group. The longer the training periods were longer in the case of the people who experienced the vocational training, and the higher the education were higher in the case of the people who inexperienced the vocational training, the employment probabilities were higher. Judging from these results, it is necessary to the development of training program, the improvement of training contents, the information of vocational training etc that reflected the needs of the young job-seekers.
