4년제 대학졸업 구직자의 구직선호 유형과 결정요인

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 대학졸업자들의 구직선호도의 잠재적 유형을 도출하고, 진로성숙도, 성별, 그리고 졸업대학 소재기에 따른 차이를 밝히는데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 잠재적 집단분석(Latent Class Analysis: LCA)을 활용하여 4년제 대학졸업자의 구직 선호도를 분석하였다. 구직자들의 졸업대학의 소재지에 따른 영향을 밝히기 위하여 대학 소재지를 서울, 경기인천권, 영남권, 호남권, 층청권, 강원권으로 분류하고, 성별, 그리고 진로성숙도변인에 포함하여 구직선호 유형에 미치는 영향을 다중로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4년제 대졸 구직자의 구직선호 유형은 ‘완생형 구직자(21%)’, ‘전통적 관념형 구직자(19%)’, ‘수도권일자리 추구형 구직자(18%)’, '취업맹목형 구직자(16%)’, ‘칼퇴근 중시형 구직자(14%)’, ‘암니옴니형 구직자(7%)’, 그리고 ‘중소기업회피형 구직자(5%)’의 7개 집단으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 서울지역 대학 졸업자들과 비교할 때, 호남권 지역, 충청권 지역, 영남권 지역의 대졸자들 모두 보수적 구직자에 속할 확률이 낮게 나타났으며, 영남권 지역의 경우는 ‘칼퇴근 구직자’에 속할 확률도 낮게 나타났으며, 그 차이는 유의미하였다. 셋째, 여성 대졸구직자는 남성 대졸 구직자보다 ‘칼퇴근 구직자’ 집단과 ‘암니옴니형 구직자’ 집단에 속할 확률이 각각 2.94배 2.56배 높다. 결과적으로 졸업대학 소재지와 성별이 구직선호도 유형에 미치는 영향은 검증되었다.

This article examines whether there is latent class structure that adequately represents the heterogeneity in job preference of job seekers from university, and whether gender and location of university are predictive of membership in latent classes. For these, I address two researches problem : Are there underlying types relate to job preferences of job seekers? If so, what are the types and their corresponding prevalence? Are sex and location of university predictive of membership in job seekers classes? For these, data were used the Korea Education and Employment Panel(KEEP). Latent class analysis (LCA) and multinominal logistic regression carried out using PROC LCA forSAS. The results are following. Firstly, the respondents were grouped into seven latent classes: Secondly, sex and location of university were strong predictors of latent class membership of job seekers.
