직업의식의 변동에 관한 사회학적 해석 : 직업특성의 중요도에 대한 인식을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 다양한 직업특성들의 중요도에 대한 인식을 중심으로 직업의식의 변동에 관한 사회학적 해석을 제시하였다. 이론적인 설명으로서는 고등교육 기회의 확대, 지식정보사회로의 직업구조 변화에 따른 사회구조적 변화와 탈물질주의 가치관, 여가 중요도 증가, 연령대별 하위문화 형성에 따른 문화적 변동이 직업의식에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 한국직업능력개발원의 2006년 직업의식조사 자료를 사용하여 분석한 결과 젊은 층일수록, 교육수준이 높을수록, 전문관리직에 속해 있는 경우 내재적 외재적 직업특성을 중요시하는 정도가 높게 나타남에 따라 사회구조적 변화가 직업의식에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 또한 탈물질주의 가치관은 내재적 직업특성의 중요도 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 여가중시 경향은 내재적 외재적 직업특성 모두의 중요도 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 연령대별 하위문화의 영향은 내재적 특성에서 두드러지게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다.

This study presents sociological analysis on changes in job consciousness centering on the recognition of importance of various job characteristics. Possible influences of increase in opportunities for higher education, changes in social structure due to the job structure changes in knowledge -information society, postmaterialistic value, increase in importance of leisure, cultural changes due to formation of generational subculture were presented as theoretical explanation. The result of the analysis usign the 2006 KRIVET survey data, younger group, higher education level group and professionals tended to set high value on internal and external job characteristics. The influence of change in social structure on job consciousness was observed. And also the postmaterialistic value had a positive influence on the recognition of internal job characteristic importance and the tendency to put more importance on leisure had positive influence on the recognition of both internal and external job characteristic importance.
