진로개발프로그램 참여 경험이 대졸 청년의 능력개발 노력과 주관적 취업 만족에 미치는 영향

Abstract

이 연구는 대졸 청년층이 대학 재학을 전후로 경험한 일련의 진로개발 과정에 초점을 맞춰, 대학 재학 중 진로개발프로그램 참여 경험, 능력개발, 그리고 취업 후 주관적 만족과의 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 이를 달성하기 위하여 한국고용정보원의 ‘대졸자 직업이동 경로조사’ 중 2008GOMS1을 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 대학 재학 중 대졸 청년의 진로개발프로그램 참여 경험이 능력개발 노력을 촉진한 반면, 취업 후 직장에서의 주관적 취업 만족도에 부정적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 대학 재학을 전후로 한 개인의 능력개발 노력이 취업 후 직장에서의 주관적 취업 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 대학 재학 중 진로개발프로그램 참여경험이 능력개발 노력을 매개로 하여 취업 후 직장에서의 주관적 취업 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이 결과를 토대로 한국 대졸 청년의 바람직한 진로개발을 위한 이론적·실천적 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of participation in university’s career development programs on college graduates' endeavor to improve their job abilities and personal satisfaction with the work. To analyze results for this study, data of 2008GOMS1(Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey) were used. Study results showed that college graduates' participation in university's career development programs effects positively on their endeavor to improve their job abilities, whereas negatively on the personal satisfaction with their work. Secondly, college graduates' endeavor to improve their job abilities effects positively on the personal satisfaction with the work. Lastly, college graduates' participation in university's career development programs effects positively on the personal satisfaction with the work on condition that their endeavor to improve their job abilities intermediates between them. Based on the results of this study, practical and theoretical suggestions were provided.
