가정배경과 청년기 진로발달 특성이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구에서는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 진로발달 특성과 직업만족도와의 인과관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석방향은 가정배경인 부모학력과 가정소득, 고등학교 시기의 학업활동, 그리고 자아정체감이 전공일치와 직업만족에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 확인하는 것이다. 특히 직업은 고교 계열선택에 따라 달라질 수 있기 때문에 계열에 따른 차이를 비교하였다. 분석변인은 가정배경, 고교학업, 자아정체감, 전공일치, 그리고 직업만족도이다. 분석방법은 구조방정식모형을 통한 경로분석이며, 분석 프로그램은 LISREL이다. 분석 결과는 계열, 즉 인문계와 전문계 패널 간의 인과관계 맥락에 차이를 나타내고 있으나, 두 모형의 공통적인 결과는 전공일치가 직업만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구 결과는 학교에서 직업세계로 이행하는 과정에서 도움이 될 수 있는 교육 및 학습 정보를 제공할 것으로 판단된다.

This study examines the effects of family background and career development of adolescents on occupational satisfaction using KEEP data from the 1st to the 9th waves. It is hypothesized that there are causal relations among occupational satisfaction, family background, academic performance, self-identity, and major-job congruence. In particular, this study compares the occupational satisfaction in terms of differences between two types of high schools. The method used in this study is SEM by LISREL program. As a result, there is distinctive difference between academic and vocational high school in the effects of family background and career development of adolescents on occupational satisfaction. However, there is no difference between the two schools in the effects of major-job congruence to occupational satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to provide suggestions for identifying training and learning information necessary for adolescents in the transition process from school to world of work.
