Abstract

좋은 일자리(good job)란 무엇인가? 이 질문에 대해서는 다양한 대답이 있을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 직업의 실태와 미래 전망을 보여줄 수 있는 종합적인 직업전망 지표를 조사 하였다. 직업전망 지표의 항목을 추출하여 확정하고, 각 항목 간 상대적 중요성을 확인한 후 가중치 를 산정하기 위하여 직업 ·고용·취업 관련 연구자 및 실무자 등의 전문가를 대상으로 의견조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 크게 7가지의 측면에서 직업을 평가해야 좋은 일자리인지 아닌지 확인이 가능 하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 직업을 평가할 수 있는 7가지 요소는 보상, 고용전망, 고용 안정, 발전가능성, 근무여건, 직업전문성, 고용평등 등이다. ○ 주요 내용 - 직업전망 지표 개발을 위한 개념 탐구 - 직업전망 지표 관련 연구사업과 데이터 - 직업전망 지표 개발을 위한 전문가 의견조사 - 직업전망 지표 개발을 위한 전문가 네트워크 운영방안 - 직업전망 지표 연구의 향후 과제

Recently, the demand for information on changes in the job market is on the increase, and in particular, information on promising jobs in the future is in high demand. In response to this situation, various media and relevant institutions have rushed to publish information on a variety of promising jobs. Unfortunately, this has mostly led to more confusion among job-seekers when they are selecting their career path. The reason for this confusion is that different criteria are used in different surveys, when selecting promising jobs. In this context, this research seeks to develop a job prospect index, which will serve as preparatory work for a reliable annual prospect index on major jobs. The idea of a job prospect index is to survey both qualitative and quantitative elements of Korea's job market, so as to provide reference data that will guide job-seekers. In other words, the index is a comprehensive indicator put together by selecting qualitative and quantitative elements that can show the current status and future prospect of Korea's major jobs, and doing research on them on a regular basis in order to offer a reference guide to youngsters selecting a career path and job hunters looking for their first job or changing their current job. The main tasks of the research on the job prospect index after next year will be to form a network that could make a prospect for certain jobs or explain each job's characteristics. This network will consist of 1) researchers on employment and hiring, 2) experts at job centers and private employment agencies, 3) staff in charge of HR and training at companies, 4) incumbents working in the field, 5) relevant parties from associations representing each industry and each job, and finally, 6) relevant professors and researchers. Through this network of experts, opinions on the job prospect should be surveyed. Furthermore, opinions on a variety of issues related to job research should be collected continuously.
