특성화 고등학교 발전 방안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 기존의 고등학교와 구별되는 특성화 고등학교에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 학교 운영 실태 및 현안 문제, 관계자들의 요구를 구체적으로 조사·분석하여 성공적인 고등학교의 유형으로 정착·발전하도록 하기 위한 발전 방안으로서 학교 운영 내실화 방안과 행·재정적 지원 방안을 제시하는데 주된 목적이 있었다.

This study was conducted in order to develop policy guidelines in establishing a new type of school which is expected to be a good drive of Korean secondary education development. The following were the main topics of the study. First, a summarized understanding of the new type of school and the foundational theory on the related educational aspects were collected by means of interview, questionnaire and research. Next, introductory reasoning was sought for along with reviews on the related concepts and legal aspects. Reviews on the new school types and other educational features were pointed out. We then reported a current status of these schools and identified operational issues regarding the developmental stages of these schools. A needs analysis were performed to better understand the ideal future view that the teachers, students, and parents have on the school. Finally, we sought to establish administrative and financial support system for the purpose of assuring future prosperity of specialized high schools and especially by boosting their willingness to achieve a high level of effectiveness. Various methods were adopted and used to verify these study targets.
