APEC 인적자원개발 실무그룹 현황과 한국에의 시사점

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 아시아·태평양 경제협력체(Asia-Pacific Econ omic Cooperation, APEC) 내 9개 실무그룹 가운데 하나인 인적자원개발 실무그룹(Human Resou rce Development Workin g Grou p , HRD WG)이 지난 1990년 창설된 이래 펼쳐온 인적자원개발 현황을 다각적으로 분석하고 그것들이 주는 우리 나라 인적자원개발에 대한 함의를 도출해 내는 데 있다.

This research project is focused on the HRDWG (Human Resource Development Working Group), one of the nine Working Groups existing in APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation), since 1990. It will explore in various areas the present situation the human resource development is in, and its significance for Korea's human resource development. HRD is acknowledged as one of the key areas where partnership projects are taking place, and is being progressed in wide spectrum within APEC but in Korea systematic and analytical research has still not been accomplished. Moreover, with the establishment of Deputy Prime Minister of Education·Human Resource Development around the corner, the understanding of APEC organization and HRDWG and its project trends is ever more important but still lacks any systematic summary of existing reference materials for further understanding. Therefore this research paper will outline human resource development related activities in APEC and significance of them for Korea‘s human resource development. Furthermore, it will suggest policies that could enhance APEC HRDWG to play a more active role and those that could help facilitate Korea to participate in the APEC HRDWG activities. ...
