대학생의 취·창업 지원 프로그램 참여 예측 요인 탐색

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사Ⅱ(KEEPⅡ) 5차년도 자료에 대하여 로짓 모형과 대학 고정효과 및 확률효과 로짓모형을 활용하여 대학생의 취·창업 지원 프로그램 참여 예측 요인을 실증적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, ‘진로/직업 탐색 과목’ 수강에는 ‘대학시설 및 학교생활 만족도’가, ‘진로상담/멘토링 프로그램’ 참여에는 ‘대학시설 및 학교생활 만족도’, ‘ 4년제 여부’, ‘대학 소재지’, ‘전공 계열’이 유의한 관계를 맺고 있는 것으로 나타났다. ‘취업준비 프로그램’ 참여에는 ‘조별 전공 과제/공부시간’, ‘대학 시설 및 학교생활 만족도’, ‘대학 유형’, ‘전공계열’이, ‘실습/인턴 프로그램’ 참여에는 ‘성별’, ‘4년제 여부’, ‘전공 계열’이 유의한 관계를 맺고 있음을 확인하였다. 그리고 ‘잡 페스티벌/박람회’ 참여에는 ‘학점’, ‘개인 및 조별 전공 과제/공부시간’이, ‘취·창업 동아리’ 참여에는‘학점’, ‘조별 전공 과제/공부시간’, ‘4년제 여부’, ‘전공계열’이, 대학이 제공하는 전체 ‘취·창업 지원 프로그램’에는 ‘성별’, ‘대학시설 및 학교생활 만족도’, ‘4년제 여부’, ‘대학 소재지’, ‘전공계열’이 유의하게 나타남을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로 대학의 비교과 프로그램을 유형화하고, 프로그램 별 예측 변인을 연구하는 보다 엄밀한 후속 연구가 필요함을 제안하였으며, 프로그램별 참여 예측 변인을 점검하고 이를 활용하여 대학생들의 수요에 충족할 수 있는 취·창업 프로그램을 개발？제공할 필요가 함께 제안하였다.

This paper has attempted to reveal the variables predicting college students’ participation in employment/entrepreneurship support program. To achieve the goal, this study exploited the 5th year dataset of Korean Education & Employment Panel II utilizing logit model, college fixed/random effect logit models. This study found that gender, 4-year university enrollment, divisions of majors, location of colleges, satisfaction on college facilities & life, individual or group study time regarding majors, study time, GPA were effective variables in enhancing student participation in Employment/Entrepreneurship support program. Above result suggested that it is needed to evaluate the causal effect of student and college level variables on the participation in employment/entrepreneurship support programs, and endeavor to improve the quality of employment/entrepreneurship support program with further studies with this issue.
