청소년기 발달과업이 초기 성인기 대학만족도와 행복감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널2(KEEPⅡ) 1차～3차 데이터를 사용하여 청소년기 발달과업이 초기 성인기 학업과 삶에 미치는 영향을 탐색하는 것이다. 구체적으로 청소년기 주요 발달과업인 자아정체감과 학업활동(학교만족도, 학업성취)이 초기 성인기 학교만족도와 행복감에 미치는 영향을 시계열적 인과관계로 확인하는 것이다. 특히 학교 유형(2~4년제 전문대, 4~6년제 대학)에 따라 고등학교 학업활동과 대학 생활에 차이가 있는 특성을 반영하여, 전문대와 대학 집단으로 구분하여 각각 분석하여 비교하였다. 분석방법은 청소년기 자아정체감을 외생변수로 설정하고 초기성인기 행복감을 최종 종속변인으로 한 구조방정식모형을 설정하고 LISREL 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 청소년기 자아정체감은 고등학교와 대학 학교만족도 그리고 대학 시점의 행복감에 의미있는 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 고등학교 학업활동(학교만족도, 학업성취)이 대학 학교만족도와 행복감에 미치는 영향은 전문대 진학 집단과 대학 진학 집단에서 차이나는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 본 연구 결과는 청소년기 자아정체감 성취의 중요성을 확인할 수 있으며, 따라서 건강한 청소년기 발달과 초기 성인기에로 전환에 도움을 줄 수 있는 정보로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of adolescent developmental tasks on early adulthood college satisfaction and happiness using first to third data from the Korea Education and Employment Panel 2 (KEEPⅡ). Specifically, the causality between ego-identity and academic performance(school satisfaction, academic achievement), which are major developmental tasks in adolescence, on school satisfaction and happiness in early adulthood is to analyze in a time series. In particular, reflecting the aspects of differences in high school academic performance and college life depending on the type of school (2-4 year college, 4-6 year college), the school were divided and analyzed into two groups(colleges and universities). As for the analysis method, a structural equation model was maked in which adolescence ego-identity was an exogenous variable, and happiness in early adulthood was set as the end dependent variable. The analysis program was use LISREL. As a result, it was confirmed that adolescence ego-identity had a significant effect on high school and college school satisfaction and college happiness. However, the effects of high school academic performance(school satisfaction, academic achievement) on college school satisfaction and happiness show different results between the college and the university. The results of this study can confirm the importance of achieving ego-identity in adolescence, which is judged can be used as information that can help good adolescent development and transition to early adulthood.
