대졸 청년층의 직업적응에 영향을 미치는 진로준비 요인 분석

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 4년제 대졸 청년들의 직업적응에 영향을 미치는 진로준비단계에서의 요인들을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2009년 KEEP 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 4년제 대졸 청년층의 직업적응 수준은 그리 높지 않으며 특히 현재 직무에 대한 만족도보다 미래 개인의 발전가능성에 대한 만족도가 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 진로준비활동은 인터넷을 이용한 것이 주를 이루고 있다. 직업적응에 정적 영향관계를 보이는 진로준비 요인은 대학에서의 진로상담, 적성-흥미검사, 면접훈련, 외국연수, 그리고 성공적 직업생활을 위해 좋은 성품이 중요하다는 가치관인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들이 직업세계에 진입하여 성공적으로 적응하는데 발견된 활동에 참여할 수 있도록 촉진하고 해당하는 가치관을 함양할 수 있도록 지원하는 방안을 마련할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to find factors contributing to the work adjustment of university graduates. Using the 2009 survey of Korean Education and Employment Panel(KEEP), we analysed the factors in the phase of career preparation which affect the work adjustment of university graduates. Experiences such as career counseling served from their colleges, aptitude-interest test, interview training, overseas training programs and the emphasis of good personality for successful working life are found to have a positive effect in their work adjustment. The research findings show that programs or strategies to support these activities should be made for university students in the phase of their career preparation.
