대학생이 지각하는 학교생활 및 지원체계 요인과 진로결정여부 간의 관계 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 5차～8차 데이터를 활용하여 대학 1～4학년 간의 대학생의 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하였다. 특히 대학생이 지각하는 학교생활 및 지원체계 요인을 중심으로 장래 진로결정과의 인과관계를 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 대학 1, 2학년은 장래에 대한 진로 미결정율이, 대학 3,4학년은 진로 결정율이 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 학교생활 및 지원체계 요인으로 교우관계, 학교자부심, 비교과 프로그램 운영, 학사제도 운영, 지도교수와의 면담횟수를 설정하고, 이를 독립변수로 하는 인과모형에 대한 검증결과 1학년부터 4학년까지 모든 학년에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로결정에 영향을 주는 변인에 대해 학년별로 살펴본 결과 학교 자부심은 모든 학년에서 진로결정 증가에 영향을 미쳤다. 이와 더불어 1, 3학년은 지도교수와의 면담횟수가 진로결정 증가에 영향을, 4학년은 비교과 프로그램 운영이 진로결정 감소에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학에서 진로교육을 계획하고 운영하는데 있어 고려해야 할 점들을 제시하고 나아가 각 요소들이 진로교육에서 갖는 의미와 기능을 제시함으로써 진로교육의 질적 제고에 도움이 될 것으로 본다.

This article examined the factors that affect career decision of graduates from grade 1 students and grade 4 students using the Korea Education and Employment Panel(KEEP). The results are as follows. First, in case of grade 1 students and grade 2 students were compared to career determine the rate of 3,4 students. Second, The effect of factors were that peer relationships, school pride, extracurricular programs, school system, adviser counselling were statistically significant at all grade. Third, the school pride was the factors of influence career decision in all grades. 1, 3 grade were the factor of influence the number of advisor's counselling. But, 4 grade was that the factor of school system was negative influence of career decision. Based on the findings practical and theoretical implications for career education plan and career guidance were suggested.
