사건사 분석을 이용한 고졸취업자들의 초기이직의도에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인 검증

Abstract

최근 들어 ‘고졸 성공 시대’라는 말이 나올 만큼고졸청년들의 일자리가 점점 확대되고 있다. 하지만 증가하는 취업률만큼 이들의 이직률도 같은 추이를 보인다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국교육고용패널(KEEP) 자료의 1차년도부터 8차년도까지의 종단자료를 활용하여 고졸청년들의 초기이직의도 발생에 유의한 영향을 주는 변수를 개인요인과 직무요인으로 구분하여 탐색하였다. 이직의도발생요인을 밝히기 위해 비례위험 Cox 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석한 결과, 고졸청년들의 초기이직의도는 입사 후 초기 20개월까지의 위험확률이 상대적으로 매우 높았다. 개인요인으로는 교급, 자신이 좋아하는 일, 일과 교육수준의 일치도, 일과 전공의 일치도가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 또 직무요인으로는 업무만족도와 복지후생만족도가 유의한 결과를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 고졸취업자들의 채용 및 유지와 고등학교 진로교육, 고졸채용 프로그램 등을 논의하였다.

Nowadays job position for high-school graduates are increasing as the word ‘era of success for high-school graduates’ is heard. However, their work-turnover rates are also high. Therefore, by using data from the Korea Education and Employment Panel(KEEP) until the 8th year, this article examined personal and job factors that affect early work-turnover intention of high-school graduates. To determine those factors in the longitudinal data, Cox proportional hazards regression analysis was used. For the results, early work-turnover intentions occurred high in the first 20 months and men had relatively low work-turnover intention than women. In the personal factors, type of high-school, knowing what one likes to do, conformity of work and education level, and conformity of work and major were statistically significant. In the job factors, work and welfare satisfaction showed significant results. With these results, this research discuss about high-school graduates recruitment and securement, career education, high school graduates recruitment programs and more.
