전문성 구성요소의 발달에 관한 연구 : 방송사 PD를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구에서는 방송사 PD의 전문성 구성요소는 무엇이며, 구성요소들이 어떠한 발달적 양상을 보이는지를 밝히고자 한다. 10년 경력 이상, 수상경력 있는 PD 24명을 연구대상으로 인터뷰를 실시, 중요사건기법으로 자료를 수집하고, 질적 연구자료 분석프로그램인 QSR Nvivo를 활용하여 테마분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, PD 전문성의 구성요소는 전문지식, 점진적 문제해결, 창의성, 사명적 가치, 열정과 끈기, 즐거움과 만족, 독립적 자아, 자신감, 전문가 팀 리더십으로 나타났으며, 인지적 요소, 정의적 요소, 관계적 요소로 분류되었다. 둘째, 구성요소 가운데, 전문지식, 사명적 가치, 열정과 끈기, 즐거움과 만족, 독립적 자아는 전문성이 계발됨에 따라 나란히 발달적 양상을 보였다. 셋째, 정의적 요소는 PD 전문성 계발의 중요한 동인으로 작용하였다. 특히, ‘사람과 사회에 대한 관심과 애정’으로의 가치 확장은 숙련가에서 전문가로의 발달에 반드시 필요한 요인으로 나타났다.

This study investigated the components of PD’s expertise and the developmental aspects of components. 24 PDs, who have experience more than 10 years and awards recorded, were interviewed with Critical Incident Technique, and theme were analyzed through QSR Nvivo. The results are as follows; (1)the components of PD’s expertise are expert knowledge, progressive problem solving, creativity, a sense of value from mission, enthusiasm and tenacity, pleasure and satisfaction, independent self, self-confidence, and expert team leadership. These are classified into the cognitive, affective, and relational categories. (2)expert knowledge, a sense of value from mission, enthusiasm and tenacity, pleasure and satisfaction, independent self, all have developmental aspects in the development of expertise. (3)the affective category functions as a driving force to develop of expertise. Moreover, value expansion to concern and affection for human beings and society is one of essential elements to enable people to grow into experts.
