특성화 고등학교 졸업생들의 진로성숙도를 매개로 한 직무만족도에 대한 가정 내 진로교육 효과

Abstract

학교현장에서 이루어지고 있는 진로교육의 질 향상과 효과성 증진을 위해서는 학생 개인의 특성 및 이들을 둘러싸고 있는 다양한 환경들 간의 상호작용을 이해할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2013년 고졸자 취업진로자료(HSGES)를 사용하여 특성화고 졸업 후 취업한 학생들을 대상으로 부모에 의해서 이루어지는 가정 내 진로교육, 진로성숙도, 직무만족도의 관계를 구조방정식을 이용하여 알아보았다. 첫째, 가정 내 진로교육은 진로성숙도를 부분매개로 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가정 내 진로교육은 진로성숙도에 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 가정 내 진로교육은 직무만족도 하위영역 중 경제영역에 대한 영향은 큰 반면 대인관계영역에서는 영향이 적은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 특성화고 졸업생들의 진로성숙도는 가정 내 진로교육과 마찬가지로 특성화고 졸업생들의 직무만족도에 통계적으로 유의미한 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 특성화고 졸업생들의 미래 직업에 대한 가정 내 진로교육의 긍정적 측면을 밝히면서 학교 및 가정에서 이루어지는 진로교육 활성화 방안을 제시했다는데 그 함의가 있다고 볼 수 있다.

Career education in vocational high schools can be more effective if interactions of all the elements assumed to influence student's career decision are fully understood. However, ineffectiveness of career education brings the necessity of home career education. This study aimed to understand the relationship among home career education, career maturity, and career satisfaction using High School Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey (HSGES) of KRVIT. The results were as follows. First, home career education positively influenced vocational high school student's career maturity, and on career satisfaction as well. Second, home career education had positive effects on all sub-scales of both career maturity and career satisfaction, except mammonism in career maturity. Such results imply that home career education can be vital for vocational high school students before making career and life decisions.
